OATMEAL CREATION CHALLENGE RULES
1. ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to the public.
2. REQUIREMENTS: Prepare an Oatmeal creation food memory using only Quaker Instant Oatmeal.
a. For inspirations, you can visit www.quakeroats.com/create.
b. Include food toppings of your choice
c. A minimum of 2 food toppings
3. Contest begins December 4, 2009 and ends one January 4, 2010.
4. Entries must be submitted for judging via email to events@lafayettecolorado.com or a video link that the
entrant has prepared for submission.
a. Video link must be youtube.com link
b. Youtube.com entries must be named: oatmeal creation challenge/your name
c. Complete entry form
5. All entries must be submitted before deadline date of January 4, 2010. Any entries received after
January 4, 2010 will not be considered for this challenge.
6. 10 entries will be selected by our panel of judges and featured at the toppings bar breakfast at the
oatmeal breakfast on January 9, 2010.
7. Entries will be judged on the basis of taste, appearance, and creativity.
8. Winner will be announced at the festival baking contest area at 12:30pm on January 9, 2010.
9. The winner will also be announced on the Quaker Oats Company website.
10. Prize distribution will be as follows:
a. 1st place – one year’s supply of Quaker Instant Oatmeal and $100 in Chamber Bucks
b. 2nd Place - $50 in Chamber Bucks and gift basket
c. 3rd place - $25 in Chamber Bucks and gift basket
11. Grand Prize winner’s creation will be posted on Sponsor’s website.
